At The Barnfield Suites, we believe that a truly luxury stay begins with a restorative night’s sleep. Our guest rooms are intentionally designed as sleep sanctuaries, blending the tranquility of Bowen Island with science-backed optimization to help you wake up feeling revitalized.

We offer two distinct sleeping experiences tailored to your preference:

  • The Coast Room: Features a world-famous Casper® mattress, paired with premium sheets and pillows for a cloud-like feel.
  • The Forest Room: Equipped with a Tempur-Pedic® mattress and memory foam pillows, providing advanced pressure relief and support.

Our Sleep Optimization Features Include:

  • Darkness: Full curtains ensure an undisturbed circadian rhythm, free from external light gaps.
  • Climate Control: Precision in-room thermostats allow you to maintain the optimal sleep temperature of 18-20°C (64-68°F).

Coast Room at The Barnfield Suites on Bowen Island

The Coast Room  (front bedroom) features the world-famous  Casper® mattress, sheets and pillows. The Casper® mattress features 4 layers of premium memory foam, zoned support for firmness and breathable materials which keep you cool and comfortable throughout the night. The new The Casper® pillow is both soft as well as supportive and features a unique pillow-in-pillow design that offers you a great zzz.

Forest Room at The Barnfield Suites on Bowen Island

The Forest Room  (back bedroom) features  Tempur-Pedic® mattress, crisp linens and memory foam pillows. Tempur-Pedic ® mattresses are made with pressure-relieving material originally developed by NASA to absorb the G-Force of astronauts travelling into space, then perfected by them for sleep.

We can’t decide which is better. How about you? Both bedrooms feature queen sized beds  and plenty of closet space for your clothes and luggage.
