A Peaceful Residential Setting
The Queen Charlotte Heights neighbourhood is a small residential community of fewer than fifty homes. Our street is a quiet dead-end road, with even fewer homes beyond us as the road continues toward Vahalla. All traffic here is local. There is no through-road, no commercial noise — just a calm, relaxed atmosphere surrounded by forest and sky.

Mornings at The Barnfield Suites are something special. The skies gradually transform from soft yellows and warm oranges into radiant pinks and purples. The light filters through the trees and across the cliffs, illuminating the surrounding forest.

From the living room, front patio, and yard — as well as from the Coast Room (front bedroom) — you’ll enjoy peaceful peak-a-boo views toward the surrounding landscape.
The Forest Room (back bedroom) looks out toward Cedarwood Elements, the natural cliff face, and untouched forest beyond. Just above the cliff sits a protected Ecological Reserve, preserving the wild beauty that surrounds the property.

Travel times from the ferry terminal:

- 35 minutes walking
We highly recommend bringing your car and/or bikes to fully explore Bowen Island’s beaches, trails, cafes, and hidden coves.
There is private parking for two vehicles directly outside The Barnfield Suites — you can drive right up to the door for easy arrival and departure. Additional parking is available along the road if needed.
