Following them ensures a safe, restorative, and harmonious experience for all guests in this private Bowen Island wellness retreat.

Guest Etiquette at Cedarwood
- Maintain quiet voices or whispering to preserve a calm, restorative atmosphere.
- Keep music at a low volume if playing outdoors.
- Videos and photos are allowed; guests are encouraged to share on social media using our hashtag.
- Clothing is optional — honor your comfort and the privacy of others.
- Do not remove or touch items belonging to Cedarwood, including sails, towels, bathrobes, and equipment.
Operational & Safety Guidelines
- Only one Cedarwood Element experience per stay (requires extensive setup and personalization).
- Maximum of two contrast therapy circuits per day.
- Use the circuit between 6:00am and 7:00pm only.
- Ensure the gate is closed when entering, during, and leaving the space.
- Do not bring food or drinks into the sauna or plunge tubs.
- Do not use shower or bath products in the plunge tub or bucket shower.
- Exercise caution around the fire bowl; flames are hot and unpredictable.
- Do not climb the hill and be careful on slippery paths.
- Keep towels and bathrobes inside the designated areas.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Pets are not allowed in the Cedarwood space.
- Only registered guests through Airbnb and the pre-arrival questionnaire may use Cedarwood (maximum 4 guests).
Prohibited Activities at Cedarwood
- No smoking.
- No drugs.
- Do not remove any Cedarwood property.
